Help us celebrate the Donate a Kuranda Bed Program in Australia one year on.

Back in November 2009 we officially launched the "Donate a Kuranda Bed" program.  We have seen some great success with the shelters who have already signed up to the program.  The aim of this program is for the general public to donate a Kuranda Dog Bed to a Shelter or Pound of their choice.  Already Animal Shelters around Australia are joining the program (see a list of shelters below) with many more expressing a desire to join.  Do you want to add your favourite animal shelter to the program? This program has been running in the United States of America for several years now with enormous success.  The main advantages of this progam are:

• For the public - they know that the Kuranda Dog Bed is going directly to the shelter of their choice and will have an immediate impact on a dogs life in the shelter.
• For the shelter - they are able to choose the type, size and colour Kuranda Bed they would like donated to their shelter ensuring consistency in the donated beds.
• For the public - most of the beds are under $200 and if the Shelter has Deductible Gift Recipient status with the Australian Tax Office, their donation is Tax Deductible if they are an Australian Resident. 
• Kennel Solutions sends to each person that donates a bed a special thank you card.

The Home can care for up to 300 dogs in its shelter at any one time. Providing a comfortable environment is of great importance while dogs wait for a new home or their owners to collect them.
