Animal Aid - Coldstream Victoria

Animal Aid is a busy and bustling place of business all year round; at any one time there can be up to 80 dogs and 50 cats in our shelter kennels and cattery. Our shelter cattery is only 10 years old but our kennels have had just on 30 years of constant use and while we have tried to keep them in good condition they are starting to show their age.

At Animal Aid it is all about the animals, we do the best we can with the facilities we have for the animals, above the facilities we have for the staff who willingly take a back seat. Our administration area is crowded and we have to do a bit of time share to get adequate time on a computer. Our staff lunch room has to function as a multi purpose room, it’s a meeting room, a class room, an induction room and where we entertain visitors.
