With the current concern regarding the presence of Equine Influenza in certain states of Australia, it will be of interest to note that F10SC Veterinary Disinfectant is effective against Orthomyxoviruses, the group to which type A Influenza’s such as Equine Influenza belong (it’s the same group as Avian Influenza or bird flu, which F10SC kills at a dilution of 1:500 with 10 minutes contact time).

We would recommend our general disease control dilution of 1:250 as this is likely to kill Equine Influenza in a shorter time period, and the higher concentration will also help if there is organic matter present.
