Mason’s Chainlink SaniKennel is the industry benchmark for a safe,
reliable, and economical commercial-grade enclosure. Systems are made
from our modular panels which allow ultimate flexibility in designing a
complete system for your layout. Unlike masonry walls (102mm thick),
virtually no space is lost in the runs, allowing less building space or
additional runs. Many buyers have found Sani-Kennel division panels to
be less expensive than masonry walls. Construction lead times can also
be reduced.
Sani-Kennel Components
Division panels are constructed with various solid materials in the lower section.
(usually 914mm or 1200mm high) and are topped with our legendary
chainlink (for airflow) to form a complete single panel.
Cross-contamination between runs is eliminated with Mason's exclusive
aluminium isolation channels which are sealed securely to the floor to
prevent leakage under the division panels. This confinement of the
cleaning water (and waste) lets you clean an individual run without the
need to do the entire bank of runs.
Division panels are custom-sized to fit your application and are
tapered to match your floor’s slope for proper and accurate
installation. Solid stainless steel, or galvanised steel isolation
materials can be used depending on your application and budget.
Mason's gate units or stallfronts are
clamped to the ends of the division panels to secure the entire system.
Gates are usually all chainlink (solid barriers can be provided) and
are made with our various chainlink mesh sizes and gauges depending on
your application. For wider runs or narrow aisles, stallfronts combine
smaller doors built into larger panels. Stallfronts are also used for
better control of dog. All of Mason's gates and stallfronts come
pre-hung and completely assembled. Single and two-way latches are
available. Secure feeding and water bowl brackets can be built into the
gates or stallfronts for fast and easy access without entering the
runs. The bowls are secured in place to prevent dogs from spilling food
and water.
Back-to-back kennels can share a common gutter, which saves money and
cleaning time. They would also share a common back panel, which saves
additional money. A Mason Kenl-Dor can be installed in the common back
panel so that a dog can be transfered from one kennel to the other
while one kennel is being cleaned.
A full-width Mason swing-up rest bench
keeps dogs away from rear gutter when bench is down. However, the
kennel and rear gutter are completely accessible for cleaning when the
rest bench is raised and secured to the back panel. This permits the
complete hosing and cleaning of the gutter as well as all kennel
floors. Liquid and (if desired) solid wastes can easily be hosed from
kennels into the rear gutter, and from there to the gutter's sewer
outlet.
If a kennel run extends to the outside wall of a building, a swing-up
rest bench that covers the rear gutter can be mounted to the building
wall. The customer saves the cost of kennel back panels and grid covers
over the gutter. Kennel cleaning is fast, safe, and easy.\
